Arts, Science, Technology & Research Youth Convention

About the Program
ASTRYC is where we find and back India's most driven young researchers between the ages of 16 and 21. It's not just another STEM showcase — it's a high-level jump-start for students who want their work to stand up to international standards.
We created ASTRYC to bridge the gap between a "nascent project" and a "research contribution." By pairing you with subject matter experts, we help you tighten your methodology and turn a raw idea into a rigorous piece of work.
For the top performers, the path leads directly to London — ASTRYC is the official selection ground for the Indian delegation to the London International Youth Science Forum (LIYSF) at Imperial College London.
The Core Process
🎯 The ASTRYC Mentorship Process
We don't expect you to have a perfect project from day one. Our mentorship is built to take a raw, "what if" idea and turn it into a high-level research project. Through our structured Ideation to Implementation framework, we help you bridge the gap between thinking of a solution and actually building it. You'll work on refining your variables, tightening your logic, and making sure your project can stand up to real-world scrutiny.
🔍 Expert Review & Global Standards
Every project at ASTRYC goes through a serious reality check. Your work will be evaluated by subject matter experts — people who actually work in your field — to ensure it hits global academic standards. They aren't just looking for "cool" ideas; they are looking for technical accuracy and depth. This feedback is designed to push you, helping you see where your methodology can be further improved and how to make your research world-class before it can be showcased at LIYSF.
🧪 Real Scientific Rigor
At ASTRYC, we move past surface-level science. We focus on Scientific Rigor — which means your work is based on inquiry and evidence-based solutions. You will be guided by subject matter experts who will help you hone your project to international standards using professional methodologies. It's about learning to think, document, and present like a professional researcher.
